London Buses 1918-1929
The period between the end of the First World War and the end of the 1920s was one of struggle for the London General Omnibus Company. Many of its buses had been requisitioned for war service and then, in 1922, it was faced with aggressive competition from a variety of independent operators. This book tells the story of the period.
