The 1960s was the final decade of London’s road passenger transport being run as single entity from headquarters at 55 Broadway, Westminster. Some forty or so years later, the scene has so changed in respect to the vehicles (apart from two tiny pockets of ‘heritage’ operation with Routemasters) that it was felt opportune to provide this reminder of what the motor bus picture was like in the ‘swinging sixties’.
