Most of the papers in this category are translucent (transparent) to some degree. They are often referred to as vellums by card makers. Each type can be used to create a different visual effect.
Printing
Inkjet - Ink absorption is reduced because of the high density of these types of papers. Drying will take longer than with specialist ink-jet papers. Care should be taken when handling freshly printed translucents to avoid smudging.
Laser printing - Because of the fine closed surface of these types of papers a good image quality is possible. However because of the high temperatures involved in the lasering process then there may be some distortion of the sheet during the process.
Many of our customers regularly print these types of papers successfully but because there are so many variables, if in doubt, it is best to order a few sheets to test in your precise conditions.

Cloudy Parchment is the only paper in this section which is not translucent . It is a very popular coloured range, perfect for presentation certificates. Available in four colours: White, Antique, Blue & Pink |
